Getting a bike serviced usually means planning around shop hours, finding a way to transport the bike, and waiting days without it. The whole experience is a barrier — and it's why a lot of bikes end up sitting in the garage with problems that never quite get fixed.

Bike Pick-Up solves that entirely. You book online, leave your bike somewhere accessible, and we handle the rest. Our mechanic collects it, performs the service you've chosen, and returns it — all within 24 to 48 hours for most service types. You don't need to be home for collection or return.

The pick-up and return process is contactless by default. We send you a confirmation when we collect the bike, updates during the service if anything unexpected comes up, and a written service report on delivery. Every step is visible to you from the moment you book.

Collection From Your Door

Leave your bike in a safe, accessible spot — your front porch, apartment lobby, garage, or office building. Our mechanic arrives at the agreed time window, photographs the bike on collection, and sends you a confirmation. You don't need to be home.

Full Mechanical Inspection

Every bike is assessed before work begins. We check the frame, components, drivetrain, brakes, wheels, and contact points. If we find something outside the scope of your booking, we'll contact you with a clear explanation and price before proceeding.

Service Within 24–48 Hours

Most standard and full services are completed and returned within 24 to 48 hours of collection. Express same-day turnaround is available in most cities — select this option at booking. We'll confirm timing when your booking is accepted.

Updates & Communication

You'll receive SMS or email updates at each stage — collection confirmed, service started, any issues found, service complete, and return confirmed. No guesswork about where your bike is or what's being done to it.

Delivery Back to Your Door

We return your bike to the same location we collected it from — or an alternative address if you prefer. Bikes are returned clean, lubricated, and ready to ride. We'll knock or send a notification; if you're not home, we leave it in your nominated spot.

Written Service Report

A full service report is emailed on return — what was done, any parts replaced, notes on component wear, and recommendations for future service. Useful for keeping track of your bike's maintenance history, especially for high-value or regularly used bikes.

We Collect & Service

Our mechanic arrives, photographs and collects your bike, and sends you confirmation. The service is carried out in our fully equipped mobile workshop. If anything unexpected comes up during inspection, we'll contact you before doing additional work — no surprises on the invoice.

We Return It, Ready to Ride

Your bike is returned to your nominated address, clean and fully functional. You'll receive a written service report by email and a 30-day workmanship guarantee on all labour. Nothing left to do except ride.

Road & Gravel Bikes

Rim and disc brake road bikes, gravel bikes, cyclocross. Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo drivetrains. Full service through to individual component work.

Mountain Bikes

Hardtail and full-suspension MTB. Suspension service available. Tubeless setup, dropper post servicing, and 1x drivetrain work across SRAM and Shimano.

eBikes & e-Cargo

Pedal-assist and throttle eBikes including Bosch, Shimano Steps, Bafang, and Fazua mid-drive systems. Battery health checks, display calibration, and motor diagnostics.

Commuter & Hybrid Bikes

Flat-bar commuters, urban hybrids, step-through bikes, and city bikes. Quick tune-up or full service — we'll get your daily rider back in shape and safe to ride.

Cargo & Family Bikes

Long-tail and box cargo bikes, including electric cargo. Hydraulic brake service, cargo platform maintenance, and child seat inspection. We carry extended-length work equipment for oversized frames.

Kids & Youth Bikes

Balance bikes through to full-size youth bikes. Safety focus — brake reach adjustment, tyre condition, and stem/saddle sizing. A well-maintained kids' bike is a safe kids' bike.

Straightforward Pricing, No Hidden Fees

The pick-up and return service includes a flat collection and delivery fee added to the cost of your chosen service. There are no booking fees, no fuel levies, and no charges for our time assessing your bike before work begins.

Pick-up & Return fee: $25 flat, added to any service booking. Covers collection and return within 15km of your city's CBD. Extended range available at an additional charge — just select it at booking.

If we find additional work needed during inspection, we'll contact you with a clear quote. Work beyond the original scope only proceeds with your explicit approval.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be home when my bike is collected or returned?

No — the pick-up service is designed to be contactless. When you book, you nominate a safe collection point (front door, apartment lobby, building concierge, bike cage, etc.) and we'll send you a photo confirmation when we collect. Return works the same way. If you do want to be present, that's perfectly fine — just let us know in the booking notes.

How do I know my bike is safe during transport?

We transport bikes securely in our enclosed vans using purpose-built bike transport mounts and soft tie-down systems. We photograph your bike at collection to document its pre-service condition. Our vans are alarmed and bikes are never left unattended in an unsecured vehicle. We treat your bike as carefully as we'd treat our own.

What if additional work is needed beyond what I booked?

We'll always contact you before performing work outside your original booking. Our mechanic will send a message (SMS or email, depending on your preference) with a clear description of what we've found, what we recommend, and what it will cost. You choose whether to proceed. We never add work without your approval.

How far does the $25 pick-up fee cover?

The flat $25 pick-up and return fee covers collection and delivery within 15km of your city's CBD. If you're outside that radius, an extended range fee applies — this is calculated at booking based on your address. For most suburban locations, the additional charge is $10–$20. You'll see the exact fee before you confirm.

Can I request pick-up for multiple bikes at once?

Yes — multi-bike bookings are common, especially for family households or couples who both ride. Add each bike as a separate service in the booking and select the same collection date and address. The pick-up fee applies per collection trip, not per bike, so there's no extra collection charge if we're already at your address.

What's your workmanship guarantee?

All labour is covered by a 30-day workmanship guarantee. If something we serviced isn't working correctly within 30 days, we'll collect the bike and fix it at no charge — no arguments. Parts are covered by their manufacturer warranty. We stand behind our work because our reputation depends on it.
